The Production Design Team of PAPA placed great importance
upon detail and historical accuracy.

Jeff G. Rack (Set Designer) was Inspired by vintage photographs in his depiction of Finca Vigía, Hemingway's Cuba home. This award winning set is completely modular and can be adapted to fitany stage configuration.

Dan Reed (Lighting Designer) has designed a lighting plot that is basic in its requirements yet dramatic and evocative in its effect.

Tim Labor (Sound Designer) has crafted a rich environmental soundscape which climaxes in a violent tropical storm.

A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (Costume Designer) has carefully re-created Hemingway’s wardrobe of 1959.

Margaret O’Brien (Props and Set Dressings)gathered vintage pieces that were chosen to match items owned by Hemingway. She has also created an impressive lobby display of vintage magazines and photos to enhance the audience experience.
